Request X-rays
Your x-ray images on CD for your own use or for sharing with other doctors.
In many cases, patients need the x-ray images they have taken. To avoid duplicate examinations, patients should have existing x-ray images available for further treatment by other doctors or in the hospital. By law, x-ray images do not belong to the patient but to the physician who took them (Section 28, Paragraph 3 of the X-ray Ordinance (RöV)).
We are happy to provide you with a digital copy of your images on a CD without any loss of quality. This fulfills our obligation under Section 28 Paragraph 8 of the German X-Ray Ordinance (RöV).
Since all medical information in our practice is stored digitally, we must burn these copies to CDs. This service is not reimbursed by statutory health insurance, so we are forced to charge €9.60 for the labor. Please provide your last name, first name, and date of birth when ordering. For data protection reasons, we can only ship the CD to the address listed in our patient records.
Those who find the price too high should note that it's not the cost of the CD or packaging that determines the price, but rather the labor required by the employee, who receives a reasonable salary in our practice. The personnel costs for creating these CDs are enormous. One employee spends approximately two hours a day on this task alone.
